It’s all about your attitude. It’s your choice.)&lt;br /&gt;(5) They have yet to fully experience Jesus’ Resurrection.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I do not think these reasons are wrong reasons of leaving the Church/ GOD. But it is worthy to look into these responses, to address to such concerns.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;My question to myself and to all believers out there is hence, ‘&lt;strong&gt;How do we as believers ensure we do not fall away’&lt;/strong&gt;?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;There is no absolute right or wrong answer. Personally, I’m stubborn in nature. Once I’m convicted to do something or of something, I will go all the way. I am convicted that JESUS Christ is my Lord and Savior of my life. I refuse to acknowledge JESUS since I heard of Him in primary school. Friends brought me to Church since Sec 1 to Uni Year 1, when I finally accepted the LORD (look, how many donkey years that is). I know the Lord personally, through personal encounters with Him almost everyday since day one, through my quiet time via mediation of the Word and prayers. I can feel unloved in Church, I can be so caught up with busy schedule…. BUT nothing will rob me away from the experiential fact that JESUS resurrected.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;What about you? Please don’t undermine this question. I’m very certain at a point in your Christian faith, you will be challenged to give up on GOD, especially when disappointments pile up. Whatever that is to come, I tell you, JESUS Christ is the one and only true GOD.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;u&gt;Discussion 2&lt;/u&gt;: Why should I become a Christian? The worst hypocrites are in Church. – says a pre-believer.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Let me share some of my thoughts and insights from ‘Answers &amp;amp; Reasons’ by Josh McDowell &amp;amp; DonStewart.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;It must be admitted that there has been hypocrisy in the church, and today we are not exempted from people who are hypocritical. A hypocrite is an actor, one who puts on a false face. He says one thing but does another. However, jus because the church contains hypocrites does not mean that all Christians are hypocrites. With every example of hypocrisy that can be pointed out in church, a counter example can be pointed out showing people who are living consistently with the teaching of JESUS Christ.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;em&gt;It is important NOT to confuse hypocrisy with sin&lt;/em&gt;. All Christians are sinners, but not all are hypocrites. There is a misconception that a Christian is a person who claims that he does not sin, but the truth is that to call oneself a Christian is to admit to being a sinner. [1 John 1:5- 2:2]. In fact, the Bible denounces hypocrisy very clearly. [Matthew 23:15]&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Christianity does NOT stand or fall on the way Christians have acted throughout history or are acting today. &lt;em&gt;Christianity stands or falls on the person of JESUS&lt;/em&gt;, and JESUS was not a hypocrite. Hence, it is incorrect to try to invalidate the Christian faith by pointing to horrible things done in the name of Christianity. We do not come to church because Pastor Khong preaches well or because of that cute guy in church. We do not skip church because a foreign pastor is invited to speak today etc. We come to church solely because of JESUS. To worship Him, to exalt Him, to hear the Word preached. If your faith is dependent on church friends/ leaders/ pastors, it is very dangerous. Humans can fall. But only JESUS is infallible.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The non-believer cannot be excused from believing just because it is possible to point to those who simply pretend to be what they are not. Hypocritical Christians cannot be excused on the basis of not being perfect because of the terrible effects hypocrisy has.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;People may claim it’s true, yet have lives inconsistent with their claim, but this does not necessarily mean Christianity is not true.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;em&gt;Question&lt;/em&gt;: How then do we ensure we are not hypocrites and we do not stumble others in their belief in JESUS Christ?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I believe we need to desire and yearn to be the salt and light of the World. Let’s be mindful of our actions, our speeches. We need to continue to do good works for we are GOD’s workmanship, created to do good. Heh. I still recalled I had sore eyes on the day for Round 2.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Things I’d done badly:&lt;br /&gt;- My body cannot be still. I kept swaying my body lightly. It’s very distracting.&lt;br /&gt;- I read out from my script too often, especially Round 1&lt;br /&gt;- Round 2 started off high, but the atmosphere quietened gradually and ended at the low. Seriously it was quite a dread because I do not enjoy animals. It cost me $15 for entrance fee and $4 for parking!! Thats so expensive okie.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I could only join them for 2 hours. I didnt have time for lunch. (I get quite upset when I dont get to eat my proper meals.) Heh. I had to pump petrol, otherwise I may end up running out of it in the middle of expressway to Expo. You know how far it is from Mandai to Expo. Heavens seemed to collapse when the nearest Shell wasnt in operation. I had no idea where to find the next nearest kiosk.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I prayed to JESUS for His guidance to find the kiosk before my car has any chance of being stalled. And I found it! Then, I had to figure out how to navigate my way to Expo. It was raining cats and dogs, plus it was 1.25pm. I was certainly late for service. By the way, Ive never been late for service. I prayed again. For Gods guidance to get to Expo and for His favor that I might be in time to get into the auditorium.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I was telling GOD that I didnt mean to be late. I truly want to please Him. I believe the LORD knew how I struggled getting my way to Expo.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Guess what? When I finally reached Expo, I saw the gate closing. I prayed again. ‘GOD, can you allow a miracle to happen? Can someone open that door again from the inside so that I may have a chance to enter?’&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The next second, the door opened. For whatever reason, the policeman (or security guard) opened the door. And said to me, ‘You are the &lt;u&gt;last &lt;/u&gt;to be allowed into the auditorium’&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Thank you JESUS for giving me the opportunity to worship Him for the remaining 15 minutes. I found an available seat. To my pleasant surprise, the bag beside my seat belonged to my daughter Michelle Ling. I seldom sit with Mich during service. I thank GOD for the opportunity too. This had unexpectedly ministered to me. Thanks also to my sisters Eliz, Cindy, Liyan, Buddy Chinfen &amp; Elise for dolling me up. Thanks Ray for being my wonderful partner.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="color:#003300;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;When I was doing my QT, I realised GOD was actually doing a work of healing thru this event.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I got myself into a very difficult situation on my JC prom night. I was nominated as one of the candidates for the Pageant. I didn't want to participate because I didn't want to be in the limelight, especially when I was a gossip topic in school then. Pleasant and nasty gossips, perhaps, nasty ones outweigh pleasant ones.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I unintentionally created a scene when I refused to go up onto the stage and attempted to leave the banquet until my teacher came and ran after me. When I went onto the stage, the unfortunate question that I randomly picked was 'Convince the audience why you fit to be tonight’s NYJC Prom Queen'. I blatantly answered 'I am not fit to be one because I don't even want to be one.' and walked off the stage. The audience let out some disappointing moans.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This incident had left a deep impression in me. Never had I want to screw up my prom night. Maybe it was an issue of self-confidence. Honestly, I was displeased with myself for being a spoil sport, yet I felt so shameful deep within. I thought I never want to be on stage to be in the limelight again.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;On the contrary, since then till now, GOD had granted me many opportunities to perform dances on stage, MC for wedding dinner etc. It seemed like GOD was preparing me, gradually, to overcome myself on stage.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;When I went for the briefing for Retro Personality, I 'freaked out' when they said they would be selecting Mr/Miss Retro King/Queen. I recalled the Prom King/Queen incident. I wondered why I got myself into such a thing again.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;On hindsight, I thank GOD that there wasn't enough time to play games on the stage, so the MCs cut the programme. All I needed to do were catwalk and poses. I believed I hadn't made a fool of myself on stage that day &amp;amp; Ray and I had given our best efforts during our preparation and on the actual day.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This was a second chance that GOD had given me to somehow 'un-wind' what happened 5 years ago. This, itself, is a form of healing, where stage victory has been won.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I can't help but burst into tears of gratitude to the LORD for He started my year 2007 - the Year of Victory, with victory on stage.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The LORD is my confidence.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="color:#006600;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#006600;"&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;a href="http://photos1.blogger.com/x/blogger/208/3075/1600/873393/maiden%20collage.jpg"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;img style="FLOAT: left; We consist of various ethnic groups&lt;br /&gt;'Emmanuel' --&gt; GOD's presence is with us&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;These are the &lt;u&gt;legacies&lt;/u&gt; of our forefathers, Pastor Hee Guan, Pastor Shufang (used to be Ps HG's cell member), Pastor Hee Jhee (used to be Ps SF's cell member) &amp; Pastor Serene (used to be Ps HJ's cell member).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;On 31st Dec 2006 (i.e. my birthday ;) ), we had our first cluster activity. Basically we had simple games, where we encouraged fellowship among the 4 tribes. I was away for a camp these 3 days. I was on my way to meet my guide ; shiying. Gosh! it was raining heavily! Probably GOD wants to clear the Haze, that's why it has been raining for the past few days.. I reached Clementi at about 5.55p.m Juz 5 mins before the actual time to meet. After that waited for a few more people. People like Sze Ming, Adrian, William and Miao Ting. Xiao Jane was already there with Shiying.. Ok, eventually we juz knew adrian and william.. hahas. We named adrian the Big bully, cause he always bully me and Sze Ming.. And William the Puberty guy who needs to eat more. lol. After that, went for Dinner. Bought food and drink. Had fun during dinner.. Ya! MiaoTing's from Mayflower Band. She said there will be a music exchange with henderson Band, Bedok north and etc. I was like really? How coincident? hahas. And she was like saying, Go for the exchange! And i was like Let me think. haha.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;After Dinner, took bus 184 to Salvation Army. We were almost late.. When we reached there, we saw many other groups. We registered and headed to our room. Manz, it was cosy! There was a Tv, but we were not allowed to on it. That's the rule. hahas. Went back to Fellowship Hall and settled down at the front. We started by needing to know three new friends. i found two and eventually saw Pastor Hee Guan. And we were like BEST FRIENDS; BEST FRIENDS. Soon had worship. And followed by ministry. &lt;span style="font-size:85%;color:#ff0000;"&gt;I had a vision of a cross. God Spoke to me to let go off everything and open up my heart to receive him. The Holy spirit came; The Lord came too. I cried and was touched. Warmth was felt within me. The Lord had touched my heart. I knew i had to let go of my fears and hatred. Example like fear for loneliness, hatred within my family etc. Lord was there to take away everything. Pastor HG prayed for me. The feeling of the Holy spirit was even stronger. The Lord spoke to me again that he will always be with me no matter what. And he laid hands on me. Though i'm not totally free form sins but i knew he took part of it. I felt a relieve! Not forgetting my Marmie[ Da Eunice] . She was there! She had rushed to salvation Army for me! Thank GOD!&lt;/span&gt; After that we watched 'The Crossing' video and had supper. I didn't want the bread, so i just drank Milo. Went back to room after that. Did my Sin list. I ticked alot of things. And it was to be a secret between me and GOD. After had a shower and went to bed. I was listening to my Mp3. After the fifth song, i fall alseep.&lt;br /&gt;The next day, do some washed up and went down for breakfast. After had a session with Pastor Adrian. [Who is GOD?]&lt;span style="font-size:85%;color:#ff0000;"&gt; Finally i got to know even more about GOD. I knew he longs for me to come back to hime. Truely to say, he will never reject us as he loved us as his sons and daughters. I really thank GOD that i was back into his kingdom and not being the lost sheep. I would also like to thanks my sisters adeline, Eunice etc who had been praying hard and long for me to return! Had ministry, the prescence of the holy spirit came touching me. This time God spoke to me saying Take my Hand, Trust in me for i am your Father. I will Blessed you! Whenever you are lonely, i will be there to hug you in my arms. I was blessed!&lt;/span&gt; The guys and the girls had to be seperated. So the girls went to the chapel on the second level. We had Pastor Yue Ping to talked about SIN. Did worshipping. &lt;span style="color:#ff0000;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:85%;"&gt;Was scanning through my sins on my mid. I prayed hard to get rid of the hurtful thots that contained in me. Pastor talked about the Sins of Idolatry. I thot about the times where i used to pray to the idolatry and my ancestor. I prayed to GOD that i will break this in the name of JESUS! Shiying asked me what can she prayed for me. I told her i used to be blessed under one of the idolatry when i was young. As she was praying i senses the holy spirit working on me. I think i had received a special gift ftrom GOd just even before that seesion. which is to speak in tongues! It's a blessing ain't it.&lt;/span&gt; &lt;/span&gt;After that had lunch. And Games after that. We had a murder, his name is doustane. He was playing with the bball and it hit shiying. And Sze Ming and i were like MURDER! MURDER! lol. Ok, we were separated into 4 big groups. And we did some introducing. My! i can't rbm all the names.. And in our group there were onli five girls. Then we had this game. We were suppose to say the names of our just known brothers and sisters. Whoever has the ball when the music stop will had to do forth-fit. And eventually we got 12 people.. Hahas [G12] And they had to do a short prayer. One said 'HAD A NICE DAY' and we were like laughing out loud.. Then within our group we headed to the sports hall. We had captain's Ball. I played for awhile and settled down. Me and Sze Ming were looking at others playing.. at about 3.30p.m Cindy, Agnes, Xue Li came. Why? To celebrate Xiao Jane's Birthday! We sang the birthday song and went up to our rooms. We chat and had cakes. We took turns to shower. So Cindy had to go off. Bid goodbye. Xue li and Agnes was still there.. We crapped alot. Eventauly Xue li was my Da sotong. And she name me Ba Zhang[ Dumpling] And i name her Men Zhang[Boss of the Doors]. We both named shiying Ting Zhang[ Boss of living room]. Soon we had dinner and Xue li, agnes need to go. Bid goodbye. After Dinner we had the SIN"S solution session. &lt;span style="font-size:85%;color:#ff0000;"&gt;Scan through my sin list to see what was missing. Worship started and was told to look through the sin list again to see what GOD has to work in in our sin list which is still a struggle to us. After that we nailed it onto the cross. As i was nailing, I got a vision of Jesus begin nailed onto the crossed. OUched! It was painful! I cried; Shying prayed for me that i will be break free. I got a few more visions, A tied knot which needs to be un-tied; The sin list which was nailed on the cross was filled with blood. I prayed quietly n my heart for a breakthrough. Soon i had a breakthrough. I was set free. After a while longer, we teared our SIN list. And i Say GODD BYE SIN LIST!!!&lt;/span&gt; &lt;span style="color:#cc33cc;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:78%;"&gt;I learned one vesus from Pastor Yeang Cherng [1 john1:9] If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just, And will forgive our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness&lt;/span&gt;.&lt;/span&gt; Then we had the Baptism session. &lt;span style="font-size:85%;color:#ff0000;"&gt;I want to be Baptized by Dec 2006. Firstly i'm proud to say i wrote my testimony but some amendments are needed to be done. In- waiting of my form to be signed. Deeply in my heart i prayed that my parents will give me the blessings to be baptized. I long to walk with my Father; My Lord! Also i wanted a breakthrough in my family that everyone will know Christ! Pray for Me!! =)&lt;/span&gt; Supper time. Red bean soup. And back to room. Did reflection and did some laughing and chatting. lol. Sze ming gave one big toilet roll as a present to our room mates.. lol. Slept at about 1 plus.&lt;br /&gt;Sun 12 nov. Woke up at ard 6.20a.m. was on the bed until 7am. waited to take turns and Bathe. Packed up and had breakfast. Seat with Adrian and his guys. We wanted him to finish two bottles of drinks[ pepsi and Green tea] Automatic, his guys finish it.. Wonderful ain't it? haha. Then after that had a session with Pastor Jhee. [God working on the inside] i was slained by the holy spirit. i saw the vision of the cross. i speak in tongues. It was totally a great feeling! A short Break and had the vision session with Pastor Hee Guan. Yeah! My best friend!! Oh ya! Pastor Jhee was my Best Friend too! haha. After that had lunch. Was waiting for my Marmie Eunice to come. She reached ard 12.20pm. Juz on time to go expo for service with us. After that, board the bus. Seat with my Marmie. i talked with her about my encounter with God! It was so blessed! I didn't sleep on the bus. Marmie talked to me about many things which i need to rbm. Yeas. After that reached expo. Manz, something was wrong with my stomach. Went to toilet to puke. Was relieve after puking. hahas. Thanks to people Who blessed my stomach. lol. Buy some hot drinks and settled down. Marmie showed us a children's worship song. It was cute! After that Service started. We went forward to worship. And Guess what? Another vision came. I saw a pair of hands. and i started crying. Then we had Rev Melvyn Mak to preach on the sermon. [ Be acceptable- The final judgement.] Matthew 25:31-46.&lt;br /&gt;3 points to rbm : 1. We need to reject indifference- Stop the sin of Omission 2. Reach out in identification-Seize every opp. to do good 3. Rejoice in our inheritance - see what occupies god's heart. I do learned alot of things during the sermon. And i found out i wasn't tired! Great ain't it? Probably because i was thirsty for the word of GOD. Amen! =)) After service we had the launching of the youth camp. i was one of the commitee. [ Publicity and Finance] Give me the money! lolx! After that saw Pastor Jhee, he asked me whether would i like to help again for the Ethnos emmanuel cluster tribe web desgin. I happily agree! Had cell processing. Did the discussion for 2007 focuses for Eunice Lim's Clan. Go Deep; Look Far; Ask Big. And also went throught the sermon. through this series of sermon, i know i had to be prepared for the return of the king and also i need to repent and prayed for abreakthrough. It was ard 5 plus when everything ended. Due to being a commitee in the Publicity and Finance group, i was told to be incharge of making postcards. Haha! Blessed me! Hopefully the outcome will be beautiful. In thinking of how to do it.&lt;br /&gt;And alot of people said hi to me. Pastor Eugene’s favorite verse is Ephesians 3:20-21.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000099;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;em&gt;20Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, 21to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;br /&gt;You know, I was meditating on 1 Kings 3:1-14 --&gt; King Solomon asked GOD for wisdom.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000099;"&gt;1 Solomon made an alliance with Pharaoh king of Egypt and married his daughter. He brought her to the City of David until he finished building his palace and the temple of the LORD, and the wall around Jerusalem. 2 The people, however, were still sacrificing at the high places, because a temple had not yet been built for the Name of the LORD. 3 Solomon showed his love for the LORD by walking according to the statutes of his father David, except that he offered sacrifices and burned incense on the high places.&lt;br /&gt;4 The king went to Gibeon to offer sacrifices, for that was the most important high place, and Solomon offered a thousand burnt offerings on that altar. 5 At Gibeon the LORD appeared to Solomon during the night in a dream, and God said, "Ask for whatever you want me to give you."&lt;br /&gt;6 Solomon answered, "You have shown great kindness to your servant, my father David, because he was faithful to you and righteous and upright in heart. For who is able to govern this great people of yours?"&lt;br /&gt;10 The Lord was pleased that Solomon had asked for this. 11 So God said to him, "&lt;strong&gt;Since you have asked for this and not for long life or wealth for yourself, nor have asked for the death of your enemies but for discernment in administering justice, 12 I will do what you have asked. I will give you a wise and discerning heart, so that there will never have been anyone like you, nor will there ever be. 13 Moreover, I will give you what you have not asked for—both riches and honor—so that in your lifetime you will have no equal among kings. 14 And if you walk in my ways and obey my statutes and commands as David your father did, I will give you a long life&lt;/strong&gt;." 15 Then Solomon awoke—and he realized it had been a dream. He returned to Jerusalem, stood before the ark of the Lord's covenant and sacrificed burnt offerings and fellowship offerings. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000099;"&gt;Then he gave a feast for all his court.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000099;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;(1) King Solomon recognized that he was so small and he &lt;strong&gt;needed&lt;/strong&gt; the LORD.&lt;br /&gt;(2) He asked the LORD.&lt;br /&gt;(3) King Solomon places GOD’s work &lt;strong&gt;before &lt;/strong&gt;his own interest.&lt;br /&gt;Notice that the LORD is pleased with Him as he prayed for discerning heart to govern people.&lt;br /&gt;I believe the fact that He asked GOD for discernment, He knows the LORD knows the best. He recognized his Master and he wanted to think like GOD.&lt;br /&gt;(4) GOD gave him &lt;strong&gt;more&lt;/strong&gt; than he had asked for. The LORD blessed him with ‘personalized’ things – riches and honor.&lt;br /&gt;(5) On the condition that King Solomon &lt;strong&gt;obeyed&lt;/strong&gt; the LORD, he will be granted long life.&lt;br /&gt;Recall the sermon Pastor Eugene preached last Sunday. Our future blessings in life begin with our obedience to the LORD.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Do you recognize JESUS as your Master?&lt;br /&gt;Indeed, GOD can give us immeasurably more than we asked of.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#3333ff;"&gt;On a personal note, I’m seeking the LORD in a few things:&lt;br /&gt;(a) My mum is falling deeper in deception, delving deeper in another religion.&lt;br /&gt;(b) There are girls who have crossed path with me in my ministry but they have drifted away from church. I miss them.&lt;br /&gt;(c) I seem to be losing a close friend. Which itself may be a good thing because sooner or later it should still happen.&lt;br /&gt;I’m asking the LORD for comfort and restoring the seeds of salvation in these girls. I'm supposed to meet my cell at paya lebar mrt ctrl station.. But i was late.. Due to doin some stuffs at home... Big Eunice Sms me that she's at city hall and eventually i'm still on my way to MRT station.. Aft i board the MRT, at around Tiong baruh station, She called me.. haha, She was already at bugis.. lolx.. Soon as i reached paya lebar, i rang Jing wen.. i tied finding my way.. i walked around and finally found them.. There sat Jing wen, Yang Chen and Big Eunice.. Soon we set off to Ah ma Serene's house.. On the way i almost tripped.. Phew, Didnt fell if not sure veri ugly. After we reached, we saw Lin Nan there playing with Mashi[Rabbit] We went in and ah gong Christopher came out.. He welcomed us.. He was friendly! Soon we settled in our room. For Dinner we had Pizza.. Yeahs! there was hawaiian and chicken supereme.. &lt;span style="color:#ff0000;"&gt;Both Big and Small Eunice's FAVORITE PIZZA!!!&lt;/span&gt; The other sister grabbed some cups with ice and plates. I helped out... Few mins later we were ready for dinner.. Eunice said the grace and we started on the hawaiian pizza. We chat as we eat.. Oh ya, ah gong chris, took out two cans of drinks[She chao shui]. All of us tied the drink. I loved the drink.. Eventually big Eunice said if Small eunice liked the drink, she also might.. haha, cause simply both of us liked the same things.. Great isn't it? we contiuned chatting, ah gong chris told us that ah ma serene got one fav. drink.. Jng wen went to the fridge to see.. she took quite long. Big eunice thot, she lost her way in the kitchen... haha.. Aft tt i went over to take a looked.. In the fridge there was &lt;span style="color:#ff0000;"&gt;RIBENA, DIET COKE and SHE CHAO SHUI.&lt;/span&gt; i went back to the diner table and told what i see.. Ah gong Chris sae it was DIET COKE.. haha and soon aft, Yang Chen was curious, so she went to take a look.. it was true.. Ah gong chris talked about past time with ah ma Serene. He said, he once at about 3.30 am sent tiong baruh market's porridge to ah ma serene's hse.. Good isn't it? The porridge is those type that is drinkable.. hmm.. Ppl who lived at tiong baruh market shud go tried.. but before tt muz find the store ar.. Man, it was fun chatting with Ah gong Chris! =)) I'm the first one to take a bath. Once i enter the room aft bath, i was freezing.. and sisters took turns to bathe. Big Eunice took out games from the shelves.. Ah gong chris, big euince and i fiugred out how to played one of the game.. Eventually we had to set up... Took quite long to figure out tt game.. Soon ah ma serene, came home.. We greeted her. aft awhile Big eunice and ah ma serene were trying out the gitar.. i was surprised that Ah ma serene could play the gitar well... =)) Soon they figured out the chords of the worship song.. at about 9.30pm, we had our cell.. We started with ICE BREAKING. We had to find out each person's name, date of birth, years/months being a christian and last but not least, one fav. hobby. I find out that Ah ma serene like to xue yu zhou lu meaning swimming.. and Jing wen xue niao jiao.. lol, followed up was worshipping.. and had cell aft that.. Ah ma serene told us about &lt;span style="color:#ff0000;"&gt;the Aim's for next year 2007, the year of victory. They are GROW DEEP, LOOK FAR, and ASK BIG..&lt;/span&gt; Thru the cell, i learnt alot..The G12 vision and stuffs. It was great! We had cell until 12 plus.. Big Eunice sae she was hugnry.. and i myself was hungry too.. See i told you, that we both are alike.. We decided to finish the left over pizza. Big Eunice went to take her bath and i heated up the pizza with ah ma serene's help. While waiting for big eunice, Yang chen and i tied out the massage chair.. i had a 15 min massage.. manz, it's veri nice although i felt tickle at sometimes.. Soon big eunice came out.. The rest of the sisters had to sleep as they had SOL lesson the next morning.. Ah ma serene and ah gong chris were in their rooms. So left me and big eunice.. i reheat the pizza and big eunice make some ovaltine. we eat as we chat.. Big eunice talked about her past time. i was engrossed with what she sae. And i told her that i always looked up to ah ma serene as she's really a good role model.. Yeah. After tt we had some jokes.. It was totally fun and funi.. at about 3.30 am. we went to sleep. Actually we talked awhile while on bed.. i guess big eunice was tried so we ended the conversation. in my mind i was forcing myself to sleep. hahas, i think about half or one hour later i fell alseep..&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#ff99ff;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#ff99ff;"&gt;Automatically, woke up at about 7am. i waited until 7.30a.m. Big eunice woke up and both of us went to make breakfast for the rest of the sisters.. We tied to use the oven and toast the bread.. But eventually it became chao ta. The chao ta smell was rather strong.. i told big eunice that i couldn't eat for breakfast as i was full.. i juz had a hot drink instead. Soon other sisters woke up and prepared themeselves for SOL.. They had breakfast and big eunice and i told them about the jokes we knew.. it was hilarious.. We thot of sending them to the MRT staton, but there was no key to lock the house door.. Therefore we cant send them.. Aft they left, i played wif the hamster. It didnt bite me. The hamster was CUTE! and chubby. We took a few pics. and i decided to take a few pics in ah ma serene's hse.. The DIET COKE, the chocolates the milk.. Oh ya, Ah ma cant drink MILK.. Erms, why? i think i forgot le.. hahas.. Aft tt we had our quiet session. At about 10.30am, we greeted ah gong chris and ah ma serene morning.. and i had my bath.. i was refreshed.. Then it was big euice's turned.. i waited for her.. At about 12 noon we were ready. Together with Ah ma Serene and ah gong Chris, we left. Took a cab to S'pore expo.. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#ff99ff;"&gt;Aft tt we settled down for lunch. i didnt had lunch as i wasn't hungry.. ok then aft tt we tied the Mimi joke.. It was hilarious.. Ah gong chris didnt see it.. so ah ma serene tied on him.. Lolx.. ah ma was simply cute .. Hees=)) i told some jokes too.. simply you can see they were cracking their brains really hard.. hahas. Aft tt big eunice and i went to sign me up for encounter.. i took some Magic of love postcards.. Soon adeline came, and i went to look for her.. Went to buy some sweets.. at about 1.40pm, service started.. firstly wif the worshipping.. it was awesome! and follow up by Rev Melvyn Mak's sermon. Even if i talked, my ears was listening.. Truely to sae, i understand 70% of his sermon.. Aft tt, there was an altar call.. and i decided to respond.. i told Big eunice that i was goin up.. She accompany me and prayed for me..&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:85%;color:#33ff33;"&gt;BEFORE, DURING and AFTER.. the altar call&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:85%;color:#993399;"&gt;Before the altar call, i was feeling rather bad.. cause i was feeling neglected by God and my fanily.. And i know i had to do something, and that was to respond to the altar call.. As i prayed, i had a vision of JESUS dying on the cross.. I teared.. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:85%;color:#993399;"&gt;During the altar call... i cried.. and also i came to receive the FATHER's love.. Big eunice prayed for me.I felt the presence of the Lord and the holy spirit. The vision of JESUS dying on the cross appeared again.. And also the vision of blood sheding came too.. I prayed quietly in my heart.. And there was a breakthrough! &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:85%;color:#993399;"&gt;After the altar call, i was feeling great and not to forget being HAPPY! i was glad that i had responded to the altar call. i had a new changed in me.. And i understand that no matter what happens, GOD will always be with us.. And i will always follow JESUS and love him no matter what. =)) I LOVE JESUS!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#ff99ff;"&gt;We had cell aft tt.. lol, michelle hide in big eunice's sleeping bag.. and guess what, our cell bullied her together.. we carried her to about a distance form our area.. Manz, it was hilarious.. we had only about 10 mins for cell.. We went thru parts of the sermon.. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#ff99ff;"&gt;Thru this two days, though i was tried when i reached home.. But i had learnt alot.. Rbm to always love the lord, and also trust in the lord, cause i know he will be back for me! =))&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:78%;color:#ff0000;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:78%;color:#ff0000;"&gt;God entrusts us as manager. Yet, in James 4:3, GOD warns we may not receive what we ask.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;span style="color:#ffcc00;"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#ff6600;"&gt;3When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures.&lt;br /&gt;Another possible reason why we may not receive what we ask may be because we do not ask believingly à Double-mindedness. Refer to James 1:6-8.&lt;br /&gt;6But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. 7That man should not think he will receive anything from the Lord; 8he is a double-minded man, unstable in all he does.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;br /&gt;What happens when we are so determined in asking GOD for things He feels is BAD for us?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I believe GOD will still grant you the desire of your heart but you have to pay the price.&lt;br /&gt;Read 1 Samuel chapters 8 to 16&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;(1) Israel asked for a King because other nations had kings to rule over them and lead them in battles [1Sam8:20]&lt;br /&gt;(2) GOD anointed Saul as King over the Israelites&lt;br /&gt;(3) Saul was selfish and he disobeyed GOD. Israelites suffered under Saul’s reign.&lt;br /&gt;(4) GOD rejected Saul as King (Take note of 1Sam15:22 ‘… To obey is better than sacrifice…)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;If we &lt;strong&gt;insist&lt;/strong&gt; on things from GOD which He deems bad for us, He will give us but we reap the consequences.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Is this the end of me then?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;GOD is a forgiving GOD. In 1 Corinthians 9,&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;span style="color:#ff6600;"&gt;9However, as it is written: "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him"&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;GOD can make good the ‘bad’ situation. GOD anointed David to be King of Israel. At that point of time, I felt very sympathetic for the men, and God compelled me to pray quietly in heart for the people involved. Through the whole trip, there are many times when I saw people living in poor conditions or with misery and indifference in their hearts. I realized that God wanted to use me as a vessel: use my eyes to see, my ears to hear, and my spirit to pray as I see and hear. This is a mission more important than the service-learning projects.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;2, Daily devotion keeps us close to the Lord.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;For the first four nights of the camp, we lived in hotel. The 5 Christians in my group spent about half and hour every morning to worship the Lord and pray in the hotel room. I also spent quite some time every night before Scene Che (my group leader who shared the same hotel room with me) came back from debriefing to read the 40-day-fast-n-prayer guidebook, read the Bible, and pray aloud. As I prayed, I indeed felt that He was right there with me in the room, and in every thing I do. I felt very encouraged and secured. However, in the last two days, we shifted to live in a school hostel, and shared rooms with our Shanghai friends. We couldn’t really do our morning worship and quiet time freely then. Although I knew that God is still with me, but I did feel distant from Him and even less dependent on Him.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;3, Keep the Vision in mind.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Interacting with new friends has been something I was least confident in. Before, I would feel very unnatural to start talking to people unless necessary. I think something Scene Che said when we started an “angel game” (in which each Touch volunteer was to be the angel of on Shanghai volunteer without the latter knowing who the angel really was, and to give encouraging message or small gifts to the Shanghai volunteer secretly to bless him) encouraged me a lot: to think of the Shanghai volunteers assigned to you as the people you want to disciple. It changed my mindset. The purpose of making friends is not only making friends, but to create a channel to give and bless the people. Giving is the goal and the posture we take. With this driving force in mind, I would naturally want to draw close to the new friends, to know more about them and to let them know more about me.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;4, We are very different!&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The Shanghai friends were very impressed by our passion, kindness, selflessness and the attitude towards our work. We may not even realize how much our lives have been transformed, but once God starts to use us, we would see how greatly He has been at work in us. Yes, this is not a church event. However, as much as possible, we hope to impact the 100 Shanghai students through our 100 representatives from TOUCH, including Yang Chen. Clap Clap! Yang Chen’s fund-raising has been miraculous. In a span of a week, more than $300 came to her!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;u&gt;&lt;/u&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;u&gt;Prayer requests:&lt;/u&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Pray that wisdom be with Yang Chen that she may rise up and speak in boldness at appropriate times. May she ooze out the fragrance of GOD and her counterparts to see JESUS in her.&lt;br /&gt;Pray for Senior Pastor that as he performs MOL there, the audience catches the gist of the show – love between the Father and daughter. May the Spirit of GOD move freely!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;u&gt;Senior Pastor’s (SP) new series of sermons&lt;/u&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Divinely, SP’s new series of sermons on ‘JESUS is LORD’ is inlined with the 40 day prayer and fast booklet, which, to date, mentioned about Idolatry and Individualism.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Question: How do we prepare ourselves for this series of sermons?&lt;br /&gt;--&gt; Read, pray and fast according to the 40-day prayer booklet. The booklet guides us in identification and repentance of Idolatry, Individualism, Intellectualism etc&lt;br /&gt;--&gt; Reflect on your lives after reading each entry in the prayer booklet. No point reading through it without any reflection.&lt;br /&gt;--&gt; As you reflect, ask yourselves if JESUS is magnified in your&lt;br /&gt;(1)     Studies&lt;br /&gt;Do you prioritize studies before GOD?&lt;br /&gt;Are you non-chalant about your studies?&lt;br /&gt;(2)     Work/ Friendships&lt;br /&gt;Do you conform to the patterns of the world? Gossips etc?&lt;br /&gt;(3)     Family&lt;br /&gt;Do you honor your parents and love your siblings?&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;u&gt;Miracle Catch Processing – by SP&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/u&gt;SP didn’t concur to the idea of having 7-8 services during Miracle Weekend. He felt 3 is enough. Sounds oxymoron – SP wants us to rise up in faith, yet he seems ‘faithless’ that the church will not be overflowing. Is this so?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;There are three types of people among our midst.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;-          Those who responded to take up the Miracle Catch challenge but didn’t have the faith to believe nor done much work to make it happen (a moment of excitement)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;-          Those who responded to take up the Miracle Catch. Truly believing GOD will make it happen and worked hard. But he/she lack certain skill sets which hinder the revival to come. For instance, he/she does not have an oikos. (A group of people whom you meet up weekly)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;-          Those who responded, prayed fervently and worked hard. Invited 20 friends but only 1 or 2 turned up. SP suggested that it could be because the ground is hard, and hence much more prayers need to be done. Also, unity of the Body of Christ is essential. We need to speak in one language, especially as a church.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;u&gt;&lt;/u&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;u&gt;Questions to ponder:&lt;/u&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Which group do you belong to? Therefore, what is lacking? Faith, work or more prayers and unity is needed?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I sense dis-unity in this cell group due to nationality differences and age gap. More importantly, I pray that your lives will be anchored upon the Rock- our LORD JESUS CHRIST. Clap Clap!!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Let's continue to pray for the names of friends/family in our Miracle List. Ladies, you have done well in Round 1. It's your attitude behind this Catch that you have proven yourselves. Jiayou for Round 2. You are not alone. Time flies... The past few weeks, I'd been busy with the signups for the camp, signups for the different sub-activities that would gone on during the Camp, the payments, the sourcing for tents etc.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Camp Amigo started on 9th June. It began with Kayaking at Changi Seasports Center. Meifang and the girls, (Angeline, Michelle, Charmaine, Joanne and Samantha) were fantastic! Ps HG shared how this camp is in line with YouthNet Vision 2006: The Gathering, The Training &amp;amp; The Sending. The tabernacle is a dwelling place of GOD among the gathered people. The gathered people enter the tabernacle through JESUS, who is revealed through the Tabernacle. (1) The arrangement of the tribes around the Tabernacle [Numbers 2] which made up a CROSS on an aerial view, (2) the arrangement of the articles in the Tabernacle which made up a CROSS on an aerial view and (3) through the 4 standards, colours used, bronze altar, bronze basin, Table of shewbread, lampstand, altar of incense, the veil, mercy seat, items in the Ark of Covenant, Pillar of fire and pillar of cloud and worship.&lt;br /&gt;Definition of The Feast of the Tabernacle: It is the tutoring of our spirits to celebrate the goodness of GOD collectively in a humble living condition. Reference Verse: Leviticus 23:33-43&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;We are reminded to thank GOD and not to take our blessings for granted. Kuwait was prosperous for the past decade and was wiped out in one day. What if it happens to Singapore one fine day? Don’t be complacent.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Aim of the Tabernacle Camp: To send excited, grateful, contented, united and humble generation to share the blessings of GOD to others, especially those who live in ‘pre-promised land’ lifestyle (i.e. The Israelites complained complained and complained. A grumbling and ungrateful attitude.)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;5 groups of people we shall aim to bless:&lt;br /&gt;Poor&lt;br /&gt;Needy&lt;br /&gt;Orphan&lt;br /&gt;Widow&lt;br /&gt;Aliens (i.e. foreigners)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;After Pastor HG’s sharing, HGSFSAHJ tribes marched to the Tabernacle Camp from TC. I went for the Night Cycling with Lin Nan, Peiling, Pey Rou, Vida, Yanshi, Chin Fen, Yuanjia and Chin Fen’s friend. It was such a good experience. My first night cycling.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Throughout this camp, GOD reminded me of many things:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Servant Leadership&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I was asked to take care of the bags while everyone was away for Kayaking since I wasn’t kayaking. My first thought was, why me? I wanted to stay at the beach to watch the others played. Nevertheless, I went away to look after the bags. When I was there alone, I told GOD to come and encounter me. GOD impressed upon my heart the words ‘Servant Leadership’. To lead is to serve. I’m reminded not to lourde over my people, but to be a servant for them. It was a privilege to look after the bags because I can be trusted. That’s why I was asked to look after the bags.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Humility and brokenness&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Sleeping in tents is a far cry from the luxurious bed we have at home. With the continuous rain over the weekend seemed to make it worse. The only time when the sun was shining brightly was during the march to the Tabernacle. It was divine. Praise the LORD for those who stayed in the Camp, especially the youths! It was indeed a humbling experience for many of us. I believe the GOD is bringing some of us to a state of brokenness where we identify that we truly need GOD in our lives. Without GOD, we are nothing.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Perseverance&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Even as a dancer who exercises regularly, I am having aches in my top thighs and upper back after cycling for 6 hours overnight. I take my hat off to those who may not be as ‘fit’ as me. I’m sure GOD’s strength was upon many of us to last the race. I’m reminded of my journey with GOD. I want to last the race. I want to run in perseverance. Would you run the same way too? Lin Nan, I affirm you that you have persevered and you are a conqueror! You have stretched yourself beyond the extent you could handle. Praise you in the name of JESUS.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Unity in the Body of Christ&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;A conflict arose among the youths with a youth from Ps Debra’s side. I learnt about managing conflict. More important, GOD reminds us that we are one body, irregardless which tribe you belong to. Let us remember that we are responsible for what we say and do. Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? 2By no means! We died to sin; how can we live in it any longer? 3Or don't you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? 4We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.&lt;br /&gt;5If we have been united with him like this in his death, we will certainly also be united with him in his resurrection. 6For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body of sin might be done away with,[&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;a title="See footnote a" href="http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Romans%206;&amp;version=31;#fen-NIV-28060a"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:times new roman;font-size:85%;"&gt;&lt;em&gt;a&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:times new roman;font-size:85%;"&gt;&lt;em&gt;] that we should no longer be slaves to sin— 7because anyone who has died has been freed from sin.&lt;br /&gt;8Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. 9For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him. 10The death he died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God.&lt;br /&gt;11In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus. 12Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires. 13Do not offer the parts of your body to sin, as instruments of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God, as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer the parts of your body to him as instruments of righteousness. 14For sin shall not be your master, because you are not under law, but under grace.&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;font-size:85%;color:#6600cc;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;(my responses are in purple)&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;The root of the problem of stress is not the lack of rest of the 'outside', but the lack of rest of the 'inside'.&lt;br /&gt;Stress is inevitable; So how are you managing your stress?&lt;br /&gt;Inappropriate stress management may lead to sinful ways that may in turn lead to bondages.&lt;br /&gt;Urge you to find rest in the midst of stress.&lt;br /&gt;GOD can strengthen us to set us free from the will that paralyses us!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Accept our responsibilities in overcoming stress&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Don't feel victimized by stress. See stress positively and use it to help yourself instead! 'Increased stress increases productivity till a certain limit' &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;There are two types of stress: (1) Acute Stress It comes suddenly and goes away suddenly. E.g. The momentary stress built up when you see an oncoming vehicle travelling at high speech towards you. (2) Chronic Stress It's longer term.. Say, you're not happy with an environment but there is no way for you to get out. Most people try to get used to this type of stress. But this is BAD! We can take responsibilities for such stress. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Don't react to stress with bad habits because they are addictive. It's not wrong to watch tv/ play computer games etc, but it's wrong to get addicted. Interestingly, Pastor recommends 'exercising' as a good way to cope with stress.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;font-size:85%;color:#6600cc;"&gt;I concur to Pastor that exercising is a good way of stress relief. Actually I don't usually feel stressed, even when I have alot of things to do. I dance very often, perhaps I dance away my stress? I used to jog and play badminton very often during Sec sch and JC days. They helped me to relieve my stress pented up. Overcoming stress is 100% Man and 100% GOD. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Believe GOD has broken the power of sin (in our lives)&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;What happens when we sin? We not only do wrong things before the sight of GOD, but also become a slave to sin. What, then, is freedom in Christ? Freedom is NOT doing whatever you like, rather, freedom is doing that GOD wants in your life. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;When we are baptised, we die to our sinful body and arise in newness in our lives. There is no addiction that cannot be broken.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;font-size:85%;color:#6600cc;"&gt;I'm reminded of Gal 5:1 - 'It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.' Be freed from slavery. Dear ladies and girls, for those who have not get baptised, what are you waiting for? My personal testimony of my baptism is that indeed I am different after my baptism - in body, spirit and soul. Body: I'm cleansed. Spirit: I will follow JESUS for the rest of my life. Soul: JESUS is my pillar of strength and support. I may be emotionally weaker, but He sustains me.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Consecrating our lives to GOD (as instrument of righteousness)&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Pastor asked why, then, are there Christians who still live in sin. As a believer in Christ, you are entitled to your right to choose to go back to Satan - sinful life or NOT to yield to sin. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;On a daily basis, renew yourself in the LORD. Make the choice and rededicate yourself to GOD. GOD is never tired if us running back to Him. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;font-size:85%;color:#6600cc;"&gt;What an apt question Pastor had asked. Indeed, from what I observed in Christians who find no breakthrough in their sinful lives, are that either (1) they do not understand why it is a sin to do certain thing or (2) they choose to be disobedient. For those who are in the former category, I encourage you to trust your leaders. When they say it's a sin, accept it for they will surely want the best for you. There is no need to doubt. If you fall under the latter category, ask yourself what good does it do to you as you choose to be disobedient. Why shortchange yourself to be disobedient? His mother had named him Jabez, [&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;a title="See footnote c" href="http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=1%20Chronicles%204;&amp;version=31;#fen-NIV-10395c"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;font-size:85%;"&gt;&lt;em&gt;c&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;font-size:85%;"&gt;&lt;em&gt;] saying, "I gave birth to him in pain." 10 Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, "Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain." And God granted his request.&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:times new roman;color:#006600;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;(my responses are in green)&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;FCBC was built on the Jabez Prayer.&lt;br /&gt;Jabez was more honorable than the other clad leaders; the others were outstanding, but he was more outstanding.&lt;br /&gt;WHY?&lt;br /&gt;Because he made the prayer, which we call it 'Jabez Prayer', and GOD answered it.&lt;br /&gt;All of us want our lives to be of some 'weight'. I.e. Of certain importance and influence&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:times new roman;color:#006600;"&gt;That's true for me; I want my life to be of some weight. I hope to make impacts in people's lives and leave my footprints in their lives. Leaving my legacy behind.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The Jabez Prayer is:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;'Oh GOD , bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be upon me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain.'&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;A prayer of confidence in GOD - Be Bold&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Ask GOD to bless yourself. Self-centeredness? Not quite true. The Jabez prayer is a supreme prayer. GOD is eager to bless us. Ask GOD to open up the gates of Heaven, that you can do things which you never know you can.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Jabez means 'pain'. In the Bible, you can only find 'Jabez' in 1 Chronicles. Jabez prayed that prayer to ask GOD to take away the infliction/suffering that's upon him.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Pray daily - every morning and night and ask GOD to bless you. Say it 3 times.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;1st time: Ask GOD to bless you in a personal arena of your life&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;2nd time: Ask GOD to bless you in your studies/ work&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;3rd time: Ask GOD to bless you in your ministry (i.e. Miracle Catch)&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;ol&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:times new roman;color:#006600;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;GOD, bless me in my life to be fruitful in the things I lay my hands on&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Times New Roman;color:#006600;"&gt;GOD, bless me in my work in future that it will be peaceful and successful. I want to be able to earn more money, like my CEO. Hence being able to give freely to support 2 orphanages in Thailand.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Times New Roman;color:#006600;"&gt;GOD, bless me in my ministry that I find favour with the people in my Miracle Catch list and that I'll be able to speak into their lives. Let them be open to both the messenger and message.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ol&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Times New Roman;color:#006600;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;A prayer of conquest for GOD - Be hungry&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Ask GOD to enlarge your territory. If you are a fund manager, ask GOD for greater AUM. If you are a student, ask GOD for more Aces. If you are a worker, ask GOD for higher pay. Is this egoist? Doesn't the Bible taught us to be content with what we have? No worries, no oxymoron here. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The motivation behind asking GOD for enlargement of your territory is for the Glory of GOD. Be the best at your profession, that you may boast in the Lord! This day, hunger more for what GOD can do for you, not achievable by self.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Pray daily - every morning and night and ask GOD to enlarge your territory. Say it 3 times.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;1st time: Ask GOD to enlarge your territory in a personal arena of your life&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;2nd time: Ask GOD to enlarge your territory in your studies/ work&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;3rd time: Ask GOD to enlarge your territory in your ministry (i.e. Miracle Catch)&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;ol&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:times new roman;color:#006600;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;GOD, enlarge my territory at home; in my relationships with my daddy, mummy, sister and brother.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Times New Roman;color:#006600;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;GOD, enlarge my territory at work which will commence in 3rd July. Much uncertainty, yet my faith and trust is in you. Positive performance. Greater AUM?&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Times New Roman;color:#006600;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;GOD, enlarge my territory in my ministry. I'm dreaming for 50 committed ladies and girls whose hearts are after JESUS.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ol&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Times New Roman;color:#006600;"&gt;2 Corinthians 10:17 - But, "Let him who boasts boast in the LORD."&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Times New Roman;color:#006600;"&gt;Some testimonies: In my Computational Finance cohort, there are only a few Christians. Back then before graduation, there were Vincent, Yahong and I. Vincent and Yahong have excellent results. First class honours somemore. They boast of the LORD for they recognise GOD's faithfulness in their lives as they serve JESUS. As for me, boo, though I'm only Second Lower Honours, I always boast of the LORD for the many blessings GOD has poured forth in my life. E.g. My internship which turned out to be amazingly good.. I even got a job offer. My other strengths like public speaking, run camps, time management etc.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;As we get serious with GOD, do not be surprised by greater intensity of spiritual warfare. But fret not, WHY?&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Because JESUS has won the fight, JESUS is victorious! So claim the victory in the name of JESUS.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:times new roman;color:#006600;"&gt;It is absolutely essential to claim the VICTORY by faith. Also, we must unite as one and pray because prayer is our powerful weapon against the Devil. For those ignorants, let me tell you spiritual warfare is very real. The Devil can strike us physically, emotionally and financially and then tries to weaken us spiritually. I injured my back last Tuesday. Yet I claimed healing and AMEN I'm healed! Past few weeks before the EJ288 Re-Encounter, the Devil struck me emotionally. I prayed fervently and GOD delivered me. I'm fit and well for JESUS now. So what is holding you back? PRAY! Pray in unity! Do not let the Devil introduce any disharmony into this family of GOD.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Have the Khongster DNA - Asking GODfor more!&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:times new roman;color:#006600;"&gt;I realised I have this DNA, always asking GOD for more, ain't for my glory but His :)&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;GOD is a GOD who hears ALL prayers. No kidding. If you're a child of GOD, you get to expect prayers being answered because GOD will answer the prayers of His children. If you are not yet a child of GOD, GOD still hears your prayers. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:times new roman;color:#006600;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;So pray the Jabez prayer and I pray that as you witness GOD answering your prayer, FAITH will arise in you to know the one and true GOD.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Times New Roman;color:#006600;"&gt;What are your take-aways from this sermon?
